The Fort Garry Community Centre, located at 80 Derek Street and 880 Oakenwald Avenue in Winnipeg, has been a staple for local residents since 1945. Originally established as the Fort Garry Memorial Centre, it transformed over the years to better serve the community's recreational needs. In 2009, two community centers came together, marking a significant expansion of services and offerings.
Our facilities include a range of outdoor recreation options as well as indoor spaces for events and rentals. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming hub for families, allowing residents from Crescent Park to the Pembina Strip to come together for sports, events, and community involvement. With a rich history of volunteerism and support, the Fort Garry Community Centre is committed to fostering a vibrant community spirit.
